AL CHANDLER - SENIOR PASTOR
Al & Tammy in Alaska.jpgHi, I’m Al Chandler and I serve RNLC as the senior pastor and have been involved in various aspects of ministry in this church since 1986.  I am primarily responsible for teaching and preaching as well as guiding and supporting the staff and leadership to help us all carry out the vision here at RNLC.  I have a passion to see people grow to their potential in Christ and live in unity with one another.  I am affectionately know by the aliases “My Pal Pastor Al” and the “Pastor of Caffeination” for my love of good coffee!

BASIC STUFF:

My wife, Tammy, and I were local high school sweethearts and just celebrated out 25th anniversary in August of 2008 with an Alaskan cruise which was unbelievable!  After leaving the area after high school, we came back to this area in 1986 and through a friend were introduced to this church.  The rest is history.   My wife Tammy and I began our ministry here in 1988 as youth leaders.  In 1992 I became a staff Youth Pastor and served in that capacity until 2002 when I became Assistant Pastor.  In 2005 I became Senior Pastor.  I also have my own business in insurance and financial planning which has actually prepared me in many ways to manage the church as well.

We have been blessed with 4 children.  Our oldest Jake lives in Brooklyn where he goes to Brooklyn College  to get a degree in English and then to further his education to be a college professor of English.  Jesse graduated in 2009 and is attending MVCC for elementary education.  Kristi is in 9th and the only granddaughter on both sides of the family.  Our son Nate passed away in September 2004 at the age of 16 from an accident.  He is greatly missed but God has been faithful to lift us up and heal our broken hearts.

EDUCATION:  B.S. in Mathematics from SUNY Albany. Received ordination and license to minister from Elim Fellowship.

  • Dislikes: Yankees, Yankees, Yankees (getting the theme?) Stale coffee made from a can.  Negative people.

  • Life Scripture:  "...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  Isaiah 40:31

TAMMY CHANDLER SENIOR PASTOR'S WIFE, YOUTH LEADER, WORSHIP COORDINATOR

Chandler Family.jpgHi, I’m Tammy and I’m Pastor Al’s wife of 26 years.  I have been involved in various aspects of the church since 1988 but currently serve as a youth leader and also the worship team coordinator.  My primary responsibilities include preparing teaching and activities for our high school ministry and also to prepare worship for each service as well as to choose and teach new songs to our worship team.  I have a passion to see each person come to know, love and enjoy God’s presence and to help raise up the next generation to be world changers.

BASIC STUFF:

Pastor Al and I were high school sweethearts and just celebrated our 25th anniversary last year with an Alaskan Cruise.   Even though I don’t like cold weather (and went in August), as I wore long johns and jackets, I was awestruck at the beauty and majesty of God’s creation.  It was an amazing trip.  We came to RNLC in 1986 when a friend of mine from college told us about the church.  Since 1988 we have been involved in various aspects of ministry.

Our family is my pride and joy.  Our son Jake is 24 and a student at CUNY Brooklyn for English.  He hopes to continue his education to become a college professor of English.  Jesse is 18, graduated this year and now goes to MVCC for elementary education.  Kristi is 14 and the only granddaughter on both sides of the family.  Our son Nate was 16 when he died in an accident in September 2004.  That has been the most painful part of life for us but yet we have seen God’s amazing faithfulness to heal our hearts and help us to carry the message of hope in the midst of life’s battles.

EDUCATION:  Eastern College in St. Davids,  PA for Social Work.  Morrisville State College for nursing at the age of 40!

Hi, I’m Todd and I’m the assistant pastor at RNLC.  Among my responsibilities are the general administration of the church. I try to keep Pastor Al in line and implement the plans of the pastoral staff.

I am also responsible for teaching Sunday school (either adult or youth), occasional preaching, overseeing the deacons committee, and our missions committee. My heart’s desire is to see people become mature in their faith and to then see them reach out to others.

BASIC STUFF:

My wife Jenny and I have been married since February 28, 1998. We have 4 kids, Nathaniel, Aaron, Moriah, and Peter.

I grew up in Whitefish, Montana at the base of a ski resort. Jenny grew up in beautiful Central New York. We met at a training program in Alabama for community leaders from third world countries focusing on community development and appropriate technology. Once we were married we moved to New York in the fall of 1998.
During our time at Randallsville, we have been involved with a variety of ministries. Jenny and I are both active in
communicating with our missionaries and organizing short term teams from our church. Jenny teaches at New Life Christian School (the largest ministry of our church) and has led numerous women’s Bible studies. In January of 2008 I followed God’s calling and became the assistant pastor.

JERRY SALIBA - PASTOR EMERITUS

Pastor Jerry and Diana.jpg

Pastor Jerry Saliba and his wife, Diana, served as senior pastors at RNLC for 25 years, before stepping down in 2006.  Pastor Jerry continues to serve at RNLC as Pastor Emeritus, occasionally preaching and leading services.

During those 25 years, Randallsville experienced growth from a small congregation to a growing community, and the start of many ministries and outreach, including the start of New Life Christian School, a main ministry of the church.

Pastor Jerry hasn't really "retired" though.  He has taken the reigns of the Men's Ministry for RNLC and for Elim Fellowship, supporting and encouraging men all throughout the Elim family of churches.

If you wish to find out more about his new role and ministry, go to Elim Fellowship or Valiant Men of God to find out about upcoming events and conferences that will be offered, including the yearly fall Men's Conference in Lima, NY.

Pastor Jerry and Diana still live in Morrisville, NY, and are a continual blessing to the RNLC family with their wisdom and guidance.
